The following programs are free for ingdownload and use. They are utilities for electronics engineers. The programs were written by Dr. Ronen Holtzman as a useful tool for Elisra Microwave Division engineers. The software comes with no warranty.

Air Inductor Calculator

This utility helps with the design of air inductors. The utility gives an easy approximation for the number of turns needed to achieve a given inductance. The current eating is a limit set by the MIL-STD for long single wires. In practice this limit may easily be exceeded if a proper heat transfer is applied through the PCB using the pads of the inductor. To download the software, click on the picture below:
