Elisra Microwave Division and the Community
Foundation of the Advanced Microwave Laboratory
The Microwave Division together with Agilent Technologies have founded the Advanced Microwave Laboratory at the Holon Academic Institute. All the kits for the experiments and the theoretical and practical guidance was provided by the Microwave Division. The Laboratory was inaugurated in March 2003.
Industry & Academic Collaboration in Technological Projects
The Microwave Division supports students in their projects for the B.Sc. degree. The projects are under the guidance of Dr. Ronen Holtzman, the R&D manager of the Elisra Microwave Division, and Dr. Haim Metzner, a senior lecturer at the Holon Academic Institute.
- High Power RF Divider / Yevgeny Sirota: A Study of Various Divider Architectures and Technologies.
- Millimeter-Wave Mixer / Yanir London, Hezi Ezra: A Planar Balanced Mixer for Millimeter Wave Applications with a Very Wide IF.
- Multiplier / Nativ Or, Elad Waxman: A Study on the Efficiency of Various Types of Multipliers.
- Analyzing Receiver / Liron Akerman, Moshe Weisrose: A Downconverter Followed by a Sampling Receiver with a Signal Detection Algorithm.
- RF Variable Equalizer / Borris, Mark: A PC-controlled Wideband Equalizer.

Elisra's components have been in use since 2001 at the Microwave Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering
Tel-Aviv University , The experiments conducted with the Elisra's components are under the guidance of Prof. Eli Jerbi.

College of Judea & Samaria
The Microwave Division helped in the foundations of Microwave
Laboratory at the College of Judea
& Samaria. All the kits for the experiments and the
theoretical and practical guidance was provided by the Microwave Division. The
Laboratory was inaugurated in January 2006.
